Introduction

　　Shanghai Ouhua Technical College, founded in 1999 with the approval of Shanghai municipal government and with its registration at State Education Ministry, is a full-time state-planned enrollment higher institution. The Honorary President of the college, Prof Wu Xiu Fang, once served as the Director of the National Education Commission’s research institution, National Vocational Education Institute. The Managing President of the college, Ms Jin Kou Gan, once served as a researcher of the National Education Commission’s National Education Strategic Planning. The college has been greatly supported by Prof Fei Xiao Tong, a famous sociologist, the former Deputy President of NPPCC (National People Political Consultancy Committee) and Prof. Wu Jie Ping, a famous scientist in medicine, the former Deputy President of NPPCC, who also inscribed the name of the college.

　　The aim of the college is “To survive on quality, to develop on uniqueness, to have efficiency on modern management”. The motto of the college is “Austere, Creative, Diligent, Positive to Society”. Education Concept is “consider students as the centre of college affairs, give full play to students’ talents, offer help for students’ job hunting”.
